Derby soup plate decorated with flowers measuring just 18.7 cm in diameter.
The edge gilding in good condition, little crazing of the glaze and some discolouration. Some kiln dust in the foot rim.
Generally very nice condition and the enamels and gilding perfect.
Made between 1806-25. I estimate probably closer to 1820 manufacture.
The gerberas painted in a strong and stylised manner but the central rose is soft and delicate as is the foliage.
Very pleasing to hold.
