A very charming and decorative porcelain saucer, printed in puce and over enamelled with lemon yellow, chrome green and turquoise, and with a pink lustre edging.

The turquoise edgeing is most unusual and quite rare to find.

The scene is also intriguing.  A woman with feathers in her hat sits with a basket of fruit and flowers.  In her left hand she holds a limp flower on a stem.  The man offers her a bouquet, and from his left hand hangs a small basket on strings.  He appears to be wearing some sort of apron and a curious hat.

I am uncertain as to the maker, but probably made early 19th century, 1820-30.
