Chamberlain Porcelain Saucer

£85.00 inc. tax
A superb quality Chamberlains' Worcester English porcelain saucer, which I believe to be pattern number three, described in their pattern book as

"Plain, enamelled, new Dresden ( flowers ) gold edge."

The saucer is marked simply "Chamberlains Worcester"

This hand written mark, with "Chamberlains" written with an "S" is one of the earliest marks and so dates after 1791 when Chamberlains first started producing their own porcelain. This is another reason that I believe this to be one of the earliest patterns on their own porcelain body.

Painted with great skill and attention to detail, the scattered arrangement has a wild and natural feel so fashionable at this period.

In superb condition, this is a high quality and elegant piece of antique porcelain.
