Chelsea-Derby Plate Decorated With a Purlple Edge, Swags and an Urn

A splendid plate of the 1770's period marked with the gold D and anchor of Chelsea-Derby, probably made and decorated at the Chelsea factory.

A rich purple edge with a darker detail, gilding and swags, and in the centre a classical urn.  And as an extra surprise some very nicely painted green camieau flowers to the reverse.

Good condition with only slight wear and no chips cracks or restoration.  Some loss to the ladybird enamel.
