SOLD Rare Ynysmeudwy Welsh jug

Made at the Ynysmeudwy Pottery Wales between !845 and 1877.
Cherubs playing together adorn this well modelled Victorian jug. Moulded using a coloured paste so that the body has an even light blue colour, and covered in a clear glaze.
Quite rare and collectable as the pottery was only running for 32 years, this is a nice example.
A very small chip to the outside of the rim at the lip, but this is under the glaze so from time of manufacture.
