Susie Cooper Double Jam Dish
£65.00 inc. tax
A Susie Cooper designed jam double jam dish decorated with a banded design number 7670.
This is a "hard to find" shape so one of the rarer pieces. It would have been supplied as an added extra to a breakfast service.
Marked with the earlier "Gray's Clipper" mark with "Hanley" rather than Stoke-on-Trent, printed over a "Woods Ivory Ware, England" mark, dating this to the early 1930's period of manufacture.
Some wear in the enamels at the centre but such a bold design. A wonderful period piece.
Makers marks:
A double mark. Woods Ivory Ware, England mark dates from 1930+ underneath the earlier version of the Gray's clipper mark also introduced in the early 1930's. Also a green hand painted mark for the pattern number 7670.
Dimensions:
141 mm x 103 mm
Weight:
112 g
Age:
80 years
Condition:
Very good. No chips cracks or restoration. Some wearing to the enamels
