Thomas Wolfe Bread and Butter plate 1792-1818
£42.00 inc. tax
Thomas Wolfe produced some really wonderful designs and this bread and butter plate is in his signature palette of red blue and silver lustre.
An open design showing off the white porcelain with tendrils and flat leaves in silver, red leaves and other blue ornimentation.
The bread and butter plate or saucer dish would have accompanied a tea service. Usually there were two supplied with each tea service for cake or sandwiches or other fancies that would accompany tea.
This is a nice item in good antique condition. There is no pattern number known for this dish but it has been given the number U111 in the recently published pattern book for Wolfe porcelain
